Week 13 of the 3FL season is underway as the wildcard playoffs inch closer. Four
teams have already clinched a playoff spot, including Alyssa and Pat in the Blue Division
and Kyle and Kevin in the Red Division. For
these four playoff teams, division champion as well as $125 and a shiny trophy are at stake.
Last week in the Blue Division,
Alyssa and Pat met for the second time this season. In Week 8 Alyssa defeated Pat 59-37. The
rematch would end in a heartbreaker for Alyssa, who lost by a mere field goal. To win the Blue
Division all Alyssa has to do is beat Darren this week, while Pat must wait in the
wings, praying for a miracle from Darren.
This week Kyle takes on division opponent Frank and Kevin takes on a fellow divison
opponent as well in Dave. At stake for these two, divison champion and a first-round bye in the playoffs. Kyle holds the better
division record, so all he must do is beat Frank to hold the crown of Red Division
champion.
